What will you do as the Inventory Manager?

As the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management in the HOMAGE Distribution Center, including storage, accuracy, distribution, and tracking of products/materials. You will work closely with various departments such as Planning, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate inventory levels.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Send out HOMAGE product for New Releases, Sporting Events, Media Events, Influencers, Giveaways, and Partnerships.

  • Manage orders for key events for HOMAGE.

  • Oversee and manage the Distribution Center Inventory team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of data. 

  • Facilitate Monthly Cycle Counts with other Operations team members.

  • Collaborate with the Planning to forecast demand and establish reorder points for inventory replenishment.

  • Coordinate with the logistics team to streamline inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products.

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records and investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies.

  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, stockout rates, and fill rates.

  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and obsolescence.

  • Train and supervise inventory staff to ensure adherence to inventory management procedures and safety guidelines.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in inventory management to continuously improve processes.

  • Conduct regular touch bases with direct reports, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews according to HOMAGE standards. 

  • Work with the Human Resources team to interview and hire new team members for the DC Inventory team.

  • Administer discipline, write-ups, and terminations as needed with guidance from Human Resources and upper management. 

  • Provide guidance and leadership to lower level supervisors; be an example and steward of the HOMAGE values.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications


What are we looking for in an Inventory Manager?

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field

  • At least 5 years proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a DC environment. 

  • 2 or more years of supervisory experience

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in inventory management software (WMS) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and record-keeping.

  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.

  • Netsuite experience is a plus
