Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Language Arts Teacher to join our team. As a Language Arts Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction in language arts to students, fostering their love for literature and language. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Teach students various aspects of language arts, including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who may require additional assistance
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance the learning experience
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Incorporate library services and resources into classroom activities
- Implement behavior management techniques to create a productive learning environment
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification in Language Arts or related subject area
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for language development
- Familiarity with literacy education principles and practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools
