Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical records systems and patient service procedures
- Proficiency in medical scheduling software such as Practice Fusion is a bonus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
