Position Overview

The Residential Shift Supervisor provides administrative support and supervision including training, appropriate scheduling, and performance evaluation in collaboration with the Associate Director for Youth Recovery Workers.


Responsibilities:

  • Assure schedules are accurate and followed daily.
  • Administers points and disciplinary action regarding time and attendance.
  • Assures payroll is submitted accurately and timely.
  • Assures orientation and on-going training occurs for all YRW staff and is documented on training sheet or in Relias.
  • Facilitate training sessions during orientation or when needed for treatment staff regarding email, Paycom, CareLogic and Relias.
  • Assures advocate reports are turned in weekly prior to team meeting.
  • Assures incident reports are completed in CareLogic, are reviewed for accuracy and all necessary people notified.
  • Reviews log entries and assures each staff documents clearly and concisely each day.
  • Understand and maintain CARF standards, licensing rules, and agency policies and protocols.
  • Implement and review all safety plans to include medical safety plans with the team and other departments.
  • Assures debriefing and coaching of staff documentation is in CareLogic.
  • Assure team meeting minutes are complete and in the TEAMS folder, including the recording of the meeting.
  • Assures all PREA documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • In collaboration with Associate Director, ensure program(s) is meeting all performance outcomes.
  • Assists on the floor for crisis situations and whenever needed.

Performs other duties related to the essential duties of the position and within the individual’s capabilities as assigned by one’s supervisor.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related filed required
  • 3 years’ experience working with children with trauma histories, including assessment and safety planning in a residential setting.
  • Proficient with MiSACWIS and other clinical databases preferred.
  • Lived experience in homelessness strongly preferred.
  • Completion of CPI training required.
  • Valid and current driver’s license with good driving record
  • Meet State “Good Moral Character” guidelines.
