Holy Cow Dennis Port is looking for a talented Assistant Manager to help build and maintain an amazing environment as we continue to grow and innovate with our award-winning ice cream!

The Assistant Manager aides the Store Manager to ensure the best customer service experience possible along with the best presentation and delivery of our product. They assist the Store Manager and upper management in ensuring a safe work environment that follows company guidelines, and pushes the ice cream industry to the next level and helps keep Holy Cow at the forefront of innovation.

They make certain that all aspects of our stores meet company standards, growth plans, and compliance.

Reports to: Store Manager, Director of Operations, Owner

Direct reports: Shift Leaders, Servers, Jr. Servers

Responsibilities:

• Open and close shifts and ensure your staff is delivering the best customer experience possible!
• Help create, refine, and enforce proper training and safety protocols for all employees
• Establish rules for staff scheduling, constantly monitors and fills in gaps as needed
• Assist Managers in monitoring inventory, request updates with production as needed
• Supply stores with cleaning products, all required machinery and tools to serve and maintain stores
• Check-in on store’s product and facilities to ensure top quality at every level
• Maintain a safe and fun experience for everyone who works at the Holy Cow
• Facilitate communication between store employees to reinforce experience consistency
• Perform routine property and equipment maintenance tasks
• Drive and grow business through fully stocked and staffed stores, education and training, identifying inefficiencies in our POS, serving, deliveries, and all aspects of the retail experience
• Lead by example!
• Be proactive, not reactive!
• Keep your team up to date on policy changes, menu changes, sales/fundraisers, new flavors, etc.

Requirements:

• Must have night and weekend availability
• Previous experience leading small teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
