Job Description
Due to the well-earned, upcoming retirement of our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tracey McKnight, Care Resources is seeking a CEO to lead the organization through the ever-changing health care environment. The candidate for this key position must be engaging and experienced in capitated health care environment with managed care, geriatric service delivery, and working with physicians. Experience working with CMS and the Medicaid population is preferred, with a quality focus and strong planning skills. Our ideal leader will be able to provide leadership and direction for all aspects of Care Resources, including planning, organizing, development, operations, and compliance of all services to ensure safe, effective, and efficient programs for Care Resources.
Desired Skills & Experience
We prefer qualified candidates to have a master’s degree in health administration or a related field. We are focused on those candidates with significant progressively responsible experience in health care with managed care and geriatric service delivery and leading a team of health care professionals. The top candidate will have demonstrated leadership of high-performing teams and management capabilities to facilitate effective and efficient operations and support effective relationships with external agencies and organizations to ensure success. Highly effective communication skills in writing and presentation are important, as is prior experience working with a non-profit Board of Directors.
Company Description
Care Resources, a $35 million health system based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, operates the PACE program (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly), which is responsible for providing services to eligible participants in Kent County and the surrounding area. Care Resources provides and coordinates all medical care and social services to eligible participants. We provide all physician and nursing care, prescription drugs, durable medical equipment, dental, eye and foot care, hospital care, medical transportation, home care, emergency, rehab, and social/recreational activities at the Day Center. To be eligible for the PACE program, seniors must be 55 and older, able to live safely at home, and meet the requirements for nursing facility level of care.
