Billing Specialist hybrid remote

What will you do :

• Prepare claims for Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicaid, commercial insurance, private pay, and any other insurance types for services provided to patients
• Monitor for corrections and rebilling as necessary to keep cash flow steady and accounts receivable current
• Communicate with various insurances and / or patients / families as needed to follow up with outstanding claims and resubmit as needed
• The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm. Work can be remote with ability to come into the Faith Hospice Corporate Office in Byron Center, Michigan on a weekly basis.

Qualified candidates :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of physician office billing experience
• High speed Internet
• Top candidates will be skilled in efficient and accurate, detailed data entry
• Masterful, high-end computer skills in various software applications

Our doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice aides, and volunteers serve patients in a variety of settings. Faith Hospice provides care "wherever our patient lays his / her head down to sleep at night" including private homes, assisted living or skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals.

We also provide end of life care at Trillium Woods, our beautiful hospice residence in Byron Center. We also offer palliative care through Trillium Palliative Services.
