**Overview:**
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling various administrative hotel Front Desk tasks and providing exceptional guest services. This role plays a crucial part in creating a positive first impression for our guests.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Manage the reception area, including keeping it tidy and presentable
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, sending invoices, prepping incoming group and individual arrivals, room inventory balancing, communicating property needs to different departments and providing above and beyond exceptional guest service.
- Provide support to staff as needed even if it's a different department
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns and provide appropriate solutions
- Utilize computerized systems for tasks such as checking guest in and out, making reservations, setting up the correct payment method and routing, verifying reservation information, conducting inventory balancing to prevent oversell and etc.
- A positive team player willing to communicate with team members and to leave their next shift set for success.
**Skills:**
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role in a hotel setting
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and fax machines
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Proficiency in computerized systems for managing hotel reservations
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer support situations
- Previous experience in a hotel or related field is a plus
- A positive attitude and willingness to communicate with team members and able to take and give feedback.
