Duties & Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognizing IHG Rewards One members and also returning guests
• Checks in and out guests, provides guests with hotel information
• Required to learn about hotel brand, hotel computer systems and hotelsales techniques
• Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local legislative requirements
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions usingestablished procedures
• Answers external and internal telephone calls taking and delivering messages as needed
• Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines
• Reports any health and safety incidents to the supervisor on duty
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors on duty

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language is an asset
• Previous customer related experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Basic computer skills to operate various property management and Reservations systems, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work well with other team members
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays
• Must wear required uniforms

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
