SUMMER HELP WANTED! The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brookings, SD is looking for Front Desk/Guest Service Representatives to join our team starting this summer. We have part time and full time positions available. Must be available weekends and some holidays. This shift is rotating and applicants are required to be available Friday and Saturdays at least 2-3 weekends a month. Shift hours will rotate each weekend between 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm.

Prefer applicants that can work shifts in a rotating schedule with availability on weekends and some holidays. Guest service agent positions will make reservations, check guests in/out of the hotel, answer phones, resolve guests issues, and complete necessary paperwork during the shift.

Key job requirements include:
-Handle guest needs and requests in an expedient and professional manner.
-Effectively communicate all shift information to management and the following shifts.
-Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all guests, staff, and property.
-Must be a team player and follow all company policies and procedures.
-Ensure Uniform and Personal appearance are clean and professional

Physical job requirements include:
-Standing for extended periods of time (may be up to 8 hours)
-Lift up to 50 lbs.
-Be able to bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
-Will be asked to help in laundry whenever needed during the shift.
-Scoop or shovel walkways in winter.
-Clean and take out trash in public areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
