We are currently seeking a Front Desk Agent and Breakfast Server. The ideal candidate would understand how to create an incredible first impression as the face of the hotel. Your genuine warmth and helpful nature enable you to rise to every occasion, from cheerfully greeting the excited family on a vacation adventure to handling the business travel-weary guest's request with prompt courtesy. As a Front Desk Agent at Holiday Inn Express Fullerton, you'll have many opportunities to brighten someone's day and leave a lasting impression.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will:

• Provide that critical first impression to our guests and have a natural passion for delivering exceptional service
• Welcome and serve guests in person and over the phone every day.
• Enjoy solving problems, be comfortable using a computer to check guests in and out
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner
• Follow all cash-handling and credit policies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Qualification Standards: Minimum of one year experience in customer service

• Must be dependable and available to work on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
• Experience with Opera preferred
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and an outgoing personality
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be willing to participate in a learning environment ensuring department cleanliness and organization standards

As a Breakfast Server, you will:

• Preparing for and setting up breakfast buffets, maintaining the buffet, establishing a rapport with guests, managing food and drink, also working in the kitchen , and cleaning up after service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
