Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using hand tools or machinery
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control logic controllers (PLCs)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Customer service-oriented mindset
