Job Summary: To maintain a clean and appealing guest room according to policy standards. To aid Head Housekeeper/Facilities Manager with any tasks which may need help.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Change bed linen daily.
2. Vacuum carpeting.
3. Dust all furniture (picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers).
4. Remove fingerprints and smudges (ex. mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, etc).
5. Thoroughly clean the bathroom area - wash shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc.
6. Make sure that the standard room set-up is complied with.
7. Report immediately all damage found in a room.
8. Report immediately all missing items in room.
9. Report immediately personal guest items found in vacant rooms. Turn in immediately all "lost and found" items to Head Housekeeper/Facilities Manager.
10. Notify Head Housekeeper/Facilities Manager of all rollaway or cribs in rooms for pick-up and storage.
11. Take responsibility for keys and make sure they are turned in daily.
12. Report immediately to the Head Housekeeper/Facilities Manager: o No luggage o No service needed. o Sleep outs. o Extra guests. o Anything unusual. 13. Shut off all lights, TVs and air conditioners when leaving room.
14. Assist housekeeper in any additional cleaning chores she may assign.
15. Maintains and stocks housekeeping carts.
16. Carry trash to dumpsters as required.
17. Log all maintenance related issues on housekeeping sheet while going through EACH room.
18. Deep clean rooms with head housekeeper and maintenance
19. Assist head housekeeper any work related issues.
20. Follow all procedures as dictated by hotel franchise.
21. Adheres to all training requirements as dictated by management and hotel franchise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: is $16 - $17 based on experience
COVID-19 considerations:
As a hotel we are following all current CDC standards. And our providing all PPE for staff.
