Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Office Manager. As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and providing exceptional hospitality services to our guests, including management of IHG Rewards Membership and Third Party reservations. This is a key role in our hotel management team, requiring strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest inquiries, and reservations
- Train and supervise front desk staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to hotel policies
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Manage the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with guest relations by providing information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and dining options
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficiency in night audit procedures is a plus
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and software; Opera experience preferred
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Bilingual proficiency not required but is an asset
