Job description:

At Holiday Inn Express, we are looking for a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. Their responsibilities include setting up and clearing the meal area, ensuring that the buffet remains fully stocked at all times, and communicating with guest as needed. They will also be assisting in the laundry.

This position will consist of cleaning and sanitizing all assigned areas, along with being able to advise guest on food choices that align with their dietary requirements and personal preferences.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assembling and disassembling the breakfast buffet before and after mealtime.

· Ensuring the breakfast buffet remains well-stocked at all times.

· Providing guest with condiments upon request.

· Resolving any guest queries and/or complaints.

· Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping the floors after breakfast is completed.

· Cleaning and sanitizing tables and countertops after breakfast is completed.

· Keeping the breakfast area clean throughout serving breakfast.

· Assist housekeeping with laundry.

· Follow all policies and procedures, along with adhering to all safety and security procedures.

· Other duties may apply as assigned.

Requirements:

· Must be 18 years of age.

· Have reliable transportation.

· Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a similar role.

· Knowledge of food safety guidelines.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

· Excellent organizational, multitasking, and verbal communication skills.

· Attentive to detail with friendly, service-driven disposition.

· Ability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.25 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
