Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including dining tables, serving stations, and condiment areas
- Process customer payments and handle cash transactions accurately
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with bartending or beverage service is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
