Our Holiday Inn is afull-service hotel that houses Magnolia's Bar & Grill, and offers a largebanquet/meeting facility with catering from Magnolia's Bar & Grill, indoorpool, and fitness room.

The pay for a housekeeper will start at $12/hr for individuals who have 2 years of hotel housekeeping experience, and meet other required qualifications (including time per room, and quality of work). 

The individual as a housekeeperwill be responsible for daily cleaning and servicing hotel guestrooms, and/or publicareas, and/or employee areas to the highest standards. Their job duties arecritical in the effective maintenance and appearance of the hotel, ascleanliness and attention to details are of the highest priority in thehospitality industry. Effective time management, customer service and carryingout specific duties and requests will be paramount to the success of thisposition.

Typical Daily Responsibilities of a Housekeeper:

AHousekeeper’s main daily responsibilities are for cleaning guest rooms andresponding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliveroutstanding guest service.

Asa Housekeeper, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and respondingto guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guestservice. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the followingtasks to the highest standards:

•Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds,cleaning entire bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming, cleaning of tables andchairs, etc.

•Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed

•Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed

•Stock, clean, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis

•Dispose of trash and recyclables

•Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
