Sales Representative - Landscape Design

Compensation: $75,000 to $150,000 (base plus commission based on the volume of completed work, etc.). Must have demonstrated experience designing and selling plans to clients. Design portfolio will be requested.

HOFFMAN LANDSCAPES, a leading landscape design, construction, and property care firm located in Southwestern Connecticut, is seeking a Sales Representative - Landscape Design to join our national award-winning team. In this role, you will work directly with high-end residential homeowners, identifying, designing, estimating, and selling landscape enhancements such as swimming pools, patios, pavilions, outdoor kitchens, walls, walkways, plantings, lighting, and irrigation. This position involves client and vendor interaction and is a mix of field and office work. As the main point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for guiding them from the initial call through to the start of construction.
Responsibilities:
- Sell design and construction work.
- Supervise AutoCAD drafting and rendering of design solutions.
- Estimate construction costs and create contracts.
- Oversee field inventory, site analysis, and design development.
- Manage construction documentation for the production team.
- Conduct site visits during project construction.
- Communicate with clients and the design and construction teams.
- Complete municipal permit applications.
- Demonstrate role model behaviors in ethics, integrity, and promoting company culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 7 years of residential landscape experience.
- Prior sales or extensive customer service experience.
- Excellent design and presentation skills.
- Strong work ethic.
