Hoefer Welker has an openings for an experienced Interior Designers with an exceptional creative design portfolio and the ability to collaborate in all phases of project design with a focus on conceptual design, programming, space planning, documentation, and selection of materials, finishes, furniture and artwork. This person will maintain cooperative working relationships, internally and externally, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit and forward thinking attitude.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Overall knowledge of construction documentation and process
• Extensive knowledge of finish materials and appropriate application
• Possess interpersonal and client relation skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
• Assist the Director of Healthcare Interiors on project needs
• Possess some Project Management experience and the ability to delegate assignments and meet project deadlines
• Ability to assist in production and development of design proposals
• Overall knowledge of furniture specifications and budgets
• Ability to lead client meetings regarding interior design issues and maintain client contact
• Proficiency in Revit with experience in Revit rendering

Education/Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Architecture or Interior Design with 8 years of relevant interiors project experience required. A creative design portfolio is required.

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: AIA or NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment.

Qualifications/Skills: The proper candidate will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, attention to detail, teamwork, presentation and organizational skills. Proficiency with Revit and other computer design programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup and 3D rendering is desired.
