Hodgson Russ LLP, a regional law firm with two hundred attorneys in nine offices, is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our busy Information Technology Department in our Buffalo office. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation of a project management methodology with the IT Department and for oversight of the IT team’s new and ongoing slate of 60 concurrent IT projects each year. You will take the lead in assessing vendors for specific projects and interfaces with attorneys and staff across the firm on the delivery of IT projects. You would act as the firm’s resident expert in project management processes and tools, providing advice and support to other departments and practice areas looking to implement project management methods. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, meet deadlines, identify, and anticipate needs, deliver to expectations and follow through. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, accounting, business, informatics or other technology related field, with ten years’ experience working as a project manager, with direct oversight for a wide range of technical projects. Our ideal candidate is PMP certified with significant prior experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a technical environment.

At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Buffalo is $100,444 to $122,850. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
