The Environmental Project Manager will work with our Director of Construction to oversee various environmental clean-up projects.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Order, direct, track progress and review results of Phase 1 Environmental Investigations.
- Order, direct, track progress and review results of Phase 2 Environmental Investigations.
- Bid, award, coordinate and track progress of Environmental Clean-up projects.
- Order, direct and track progress of limited and pre-demo asbestos surveys. Ensure survey efforts are adequate to properly quantify ACM.
- Bid and Award demolition and asbestos abatement projects.
- Limited overnight travel required from time to time.
- Knowledge and understanding of environmental issues, relevant legislation, and renewable energy sources.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of environmental project management experience. Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, construction management, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Strong project management skills, results-driven, with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- A strong analytical thought process with sound judgement and a keen attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter with a collaborative spirit.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
**Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
