Head Softball Coach

Location: Nelsonville, OH, 45764

The Head Softball Coach will be responsible for leading and managing the softball program. The coach will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive softball program that includes recruiting, training, and coaching student-athletes. The coach will also be responsible for managing the budget, scheduling games and practices, and ensuring compliance with all NJCAA and institutional rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain talented student-athletes for the softball program
• Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for student-athletes
• Provide coaching and instruction to student-athletes during practices and games
• Manage the budget for the softball program
• Schedule games and practices
• Ensure compliance with all NJCAA and institutional rules and regulations
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote the success of the athletic department
• Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Prior coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level
• Strong knowledge of softball rules and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to recruit and retain talented student-athletes
• Ability to manage a budget and schedule
• Commitment to compliance with NJCAA and institutional rules and regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and staff
