Assistant Athletic Director/Head Softball Coach

Job Summary

The Assistant Athletic Director/Head Softball Coach will be responsible for assisting the Athletic Director in managing the athletic department and overseeing the softball program. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, coaching, and mentoring student-athletes, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the softball program.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Athletic Director in managing the athletic department
• Recruit, coach, and mentor student-athletes
• Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the softball program
• Ensure compliance with all NJCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to promote the overall success of the athletic department
• Participate in fundraising and community outreach activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level
• Strong knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to recruit and retain high-quality student-athletes
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and staff members
• Commitment to the academic and personal success of student-athletes
