In coordination with the Project Manager and other project team members, the Project Engineer II provides planning and technical support related to the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) process of commercial and industrial solar PV projects. This position works at EPC job sites and the company offices. The Project Engineer II supports the following functions: health and safety protocol, quality control, engineering and design review, estimating and budget monitoring, purchasing and contract administration, construction management, and general project administration. The Project Engineer II also provides project site coverage as needed.
Location : This position is based in our Columbia, MD or West Lebanon, NH office with hybrid flexibility.
Working Conditions : Primarily working in an office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. Travel is required up to 25% of the time, which may be spent outside on construction sites or visiting vendor and/or subcontractor offices in addition to attending various conferences and meetings.
Physical Requirements : Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Weather conditions and terrain will vary depending on geographical location of project site. Frequent travel to project sites required.
