Home of New Vision is a nonprofit substance use, mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment program located in Ann Arbor, Jackson and Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Home of New Vision has full time positions available as described below. This position functions as the Program Manager for a substance use disorder treatment, case manager and peer program (s).
EXPECTATIONS: The employee will provide direct supervision to a staff of 5 to 7 people, conduct outreach to the community, be responsible for all aspects of the program's day to day functions, staff supervision and facilities management. May also provide intake and assessment and therapeutic interventions. Must possess good time management and documentation skills, good judgment in evaluating of clients, past successful supervisory skills, ability to present in a professional manner at meetings and provide professional and appropriate feedback to staff on expectations and performance. Experience in a behavioral health setting strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Have current working knowledge of laws pertaining to the field. Experience providing assessment and individual sessions strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: LLMSW or LMSW (other counseling credentials considered on a case by case basis) with a CAADC or willingness to file a plan is preferred. Other relevant experience, including supervisory experience considered. Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
