Summary of Position

HMT LLC is currently seeking a talented drafter / Intern to join our Products Engineering Department. This person will be responsible for detailing various mechanical components and assemblies for above-ground storage tanks in the oil, gas, and chemical industries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce drawings and clarifications as needed to support shop fabrication and field construction. (weldments, assemblies, etc.)
• Maintain drawings and other engineering documents through checking, approval, and release cycle.
• Maintain file systems for electronic CAD files.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials.
• Work as part of a team on Tank Product projects.
• Maintain engineering revisions and distribution of drawings and updates.

Qualification & Education:

• Preferred / Minimum Education: Associates-level degree and/or AutoCAD Certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Relevant experience: Above Ground Storage Tank, Structural drafting
