As a Production Trainer you’ll ensure all Production & Assembly Operators are trained to perform assigned tasks according to the HMS safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Major Responsibilities

• Train multiple new direct and temporary employees and remain with each until they are fully capable and proficient.
• Train and motivate P&A Operators on the importance of attendance and the vital role they fill on the line.
• Deliver feedback to employees and the Production Supervisor.
• Identify gaps in employee’s skill level and determine the need for additional training and/or performance management.
• Ensure employees understand and follow Quality Control protocols.
• Ensure employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures, while following HMS Quality Control protocols.

Skills Required

• High school Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of training experience in a manufacturing setting or 2 years’ experience plus specialized training and/or training certification.
• Experience with MS Office Suites (Word, Outlook 365, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal skill, and ability to train, coach, and mentor employees.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze processes and data to determine training needs and develop materials.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and to sit, stand, or move about the facility for extended periods of time.
