This position will work eight days on and six days off in a group home and at the day program.

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide direct service to people at residential sites. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that active treatment is consistently provided to the people in accordance with the Individual Service Plans. This position also involves completing household duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires knowledge and skills equivalent to those required to complete a high school diploma. Preference is given to candidates with work experience in the field of developmental disabilities.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Will obtain and maintain the required certifications, including becoming a medication technician, CPR and First Aid certification, Therapeutic Response Certification, a valid ND Driver’s License, and DD certification as necessary for the position.
