Hispanic Technology Executive Council is Hiring a Sr. Analyst, Inventory Management Near Chicago, IL

What Inventory Mgmt contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Accountabilities

  • Analyze historical data and input from Sales to forecast demand by customer, item, and product class
  • Determine parameter settings in the replenishment system: safety stock, lead times, and order cycle
  • Purchase order maintenance and driving supplier performance in the most efficient manner
  • Expedite inbound shipments and prioritize key purchase orders as required to achieve key performance metrics
  • Apply LEAN principles in collaboration with suppliers to reduce cycle time and improve fill rates
  • Align suppliers with Operations to minimize total systems cost and manage inventory levels
  • Drive cross-functional demand and supply planning with internal stakeholders and external manufacturers
  • Comply with laws and regulations as they pertain to services provided by the Company. This includes supporting and demonstrating compliance with the Companys Compliance and HIPAA Plans.
  • Promptly report any information regarding a known or suspected violation of any applicable laws, regulations, standards or company policy.
  • Represent the culture and values of the Company to other groups, agencies and the general public, and ensure accuracy of public information materials.
  • As applicable, attend in-service, continuing education or seminar programs to stay current with industry and community trends.
  • Attend all required Compliance, HIPAA and other scheduled training.
  • As applicable, present to management and staff.
  • Identify, support and demonstrate the Companys culture and values to ensure quality service to both internal and external company customers.
  • Support and demonstrate the Companys values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3-5 years experience preferred
  • Preferred experience in supply chain, demand planning and/or procurement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy

Anticipated salary range:$55,400 - $79,200
