We're seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Data Lake Production Support Engineer to join our EDM Production Services team. This role is in Pittsburgh.(Hybrid)

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • The individual will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing a strategy around a centralized Data Lake platforms within the firm.
  • Ability to collaborate managing integral components of the strategic Data Lake, Snowflake Hadoop, Kudu, Impala S3, Iceberg, Spark, Vertica, Elastic platform and ensuring it is functioning as intended.
  • The candidate must have hands-on experience with DevOps activities and knowledge of CI/CD tools & procedures along with the technical stack mentioned above.
  • The candidate should have exposure to monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Prometheus, Splunk, Cloud Probes, MoogSoft to execute on a monitoring initiative.
  • Candidate will also get exposure to all the above technologies.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10 - 12 years of related Application Support required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Experience managing Big Data Ecosystem
  • Experience working with Linux, unix operating System
  • Experience running and fine-tuning SQL queries

Designs, implements, integrates, and provides full support for complex software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment. Maintains and supports moderately complex infrastructure environments.
