Hispanic Technology Executive Council is Hiring a Product Manager, ICG Digital -Apps & Integrations (VP) (Hybrid) Near New York, NY

The Product Manager is responsible for managing a broad range of products, setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management, etc. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position. In the Apps & Integration team, we will be focusing on developing integrations and embedded solutions within the core platforms our clients are using to do business with Citi. We are an innovative team, with an entrepreneurial feel. We are working on the next generation of embedded banking products and we are looking forward to adding another super star to the team.
Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal counterparties and stakeholders to gather feedback and insight on current client challenges in the areas of cash management, payments, FX, credit, liquidity, and investments.
  • Support end to end product development life cycle - ideation, product definition, prototyping, design, validation, and commercialization
  • Work with the larger team to identify pilot clients, to partner and co-create with Citi, run client co-creation sessions with the goal of defining an MVP (minimal viable product)
  • Identify partner opportunities for MVP and clearly define requirements, timelines, expectations, and success criteria.
  • Partner with our program management team to ensure timely execution and delivery of partnership programs
  • Educate internal teams on our solutions by demonstrating the product and clearly articulate and document the key client benefits.
  • Oversee day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Develop plans and execute functional strategies for a country, multiple countries, region, or business requiring coordination and integration across units as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within a region or business
  • Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
  • Develop and communicate a business plan to approach the marketplace, and coordinate and implement team procedures, client problem resolutions and client management
  • Help drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage vendor relationships, and prepare agreements
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Treasury operations from either a bank, corporate, consulting or software vendor background
  • Deep understanding of the treasury ecosystem, how Treasury organizations integrate with TMS, ERP, trading platforms, bank partners etc.
  • Knowledge of API technologies and how they are used in integrations
  • Positive, inclusive, and engaging in order to be able to coordinate and run large client work sessions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to drive client conversation and ensure tangible engagement outcomes
  • Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
