Hispanic Technology Executive Council is Hiring a Citi Alliance Product Strategy Lead, VP Near New York, NY

Background

We are looking for a strong candidate to drive a new, high-profile business strategy. Our team operates within the Global Wealth Management organization in the US business and is tasked with delivering a partnership-driven distribution business to grow our Consumer banking base, as well as expand into additional Citi products and services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to growing the business from ground-up, benefiting from Citi's considerable strengths serving affluent and HNW client banking needs.

The business targets the external independent advisor market, providing end clients robust banking solutions and high-touch servicing. The team is tasked with developing and maintaining new partnerships for the B2B2C distribution model, maintaining and enhancing the value proposition of the core deposit and lending product offering as well as enhancing capabilities, products and features to meet additional client needs.

The general management role involves partnering with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class client experiences, adoption and growth. The role will focus on new product development, working with sales, servicing and operations to build and deliver enhancements, assess workflows and deliver a strong end-to-end client experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on external partner relationships to gain business development experience and will work with highly motivated and talented colleagues committed to the strategy.

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, driven and energetic.

Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Developing and launching new banking and client experience features
  • Designing enhancements working with technology, digital experience, operations, sales and servicing and controls partners
  • Enhancements could include account opening experiences, digital features, product updates and changes to banker and servicing systems as well as implementation of new controls for better risk management
  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps
  • Review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers
  • Execute client value propositions, including positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation
  • Contribute to business deposits, revenue and client growth goals
  • Support of external relationships
  • Preparation of senior level presentations, reporting and updates
  • Driving agreements and partnering with multiple teams within and outside of the wealth organization; persuading and influencing and operating as an owner
  • An interest in the wealth management industry and banking trends in particular
  • Support of new activity committee approvals and controls requirements, including assessments and documentation related to business-owned risks and controls
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or other Master's degree preferred
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience with Consumer banking product and/or digital banking, operations and bank servicing
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Collaborative work style - ability to influence without authority and effectively interact with partners across organizational boundaries
  • Clear/logical approach to problem-solving

Education

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
