Career Services Department Mission

The HSF Career Services Department empowers courageous leaders through world-class support services,
delivers industry leading recruitment & talent acquisition services, and secures and safeguards HSF’s financial
health and long-term sustainability.

Accountabilities of the Position

The Manager Career Services, is accountable for actively recruiting and engaging top talent, providing world-
class guidance and support services, contributing to the execution of all HSF programs and events, and
safeguarding HSF’s long-term sustainability.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the recruiting life cycle (needs assessment, preparation, sourcing,

screening, interviewing, selection, hiring, and onboarding)

• General knowledge of sales and business development strategies

• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects and meet strict deadlines

Credentials/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience in any of the following: full-cycle

staffing/agency recruitment, sales, executive search, and/or internal corporate recruiting

• Prior experience sourcing applicants, conducting prescreening interviews, communicating job details,

coaching applicants through the interview process, supporting applicants with compensation
negotiation, and successfully placing candidates

• Experience working in a high call volume, results-oriented role

Commitment Expectations

• Flexible to work weekends and/or extended workdays, as needed
• Flexible to travel up to 25% of the time for meetings, presentations, and events, as needed
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended

periods of time and occasionally lift no more than 35 pounds
