Overview:

Hisense USA is looking for a seasoned and visionary Senior Systems Engineer to join our Light Commercial Products division. This role is crucial for driving the group's vision and advancing our market leadership in light commercial air conditioning and refrigeration solutions. The Senior Systems Engineer will be pivotal in integrating cutting-edge technologies and ensuring all product designs meet or exceed industry regulations and standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Technology Integration and System Design: Develop and refine system architectures for light commercial products, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies. Oversee the lifecycle of systems from concept through design, testing, and support to ensure they meet business goals and performance standards.
• Regulatory Leadership and Compliance: Keep abreast of industry laws and regulations to ensure all products comply with national and international standards. Guide the engineering team in adapting product designs to meet these standards.
• Innovation and Research: Monitor and analyze technology trends to steer the product development strategies for the division. Initiate and lead projects that apply the latest technologies to enhance product efficiency and user experience.
• Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing to align product strategies and optimize project outcomes.
• Quality Assurance and Testing: Define testing protocols and oversee the testing of new systems to ensure robustness and compliance with all required standards. Address any issues identified during testing to refine product designs.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, modifications, and compliance measures. Prepare detailed reports on technology strategy, project progress, and testing outcomes for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, specifically in light commercial HVAC or related fields.

Technical Skills:

• Extensive experience with HVAC systems, particularly in the commercial sector.
• Proficient in using CAD and simulation software.
• Strong understanding of current industry regulatory and compliance issues affecting product design and functionality.

• Deep technical expertise in commercial HVAC systems and a proven track record of successful system integration.
• Strategic thinker with a capacity to lead innovation within the technology landscape of light commercial products.
• Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
• Strong regulatory and compliance skills, able to navigate complex legal landscapes to ensure product compliance.
