Hisense USA is Hiring a Bilingual IT Helpdesk Support Specialist Near Suwanee, GA

Overview:

Maintain computer systems, laptop device setup, networks/servers, communication/data network, productivity, and collaboration tools. Must be able to communicate in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Supervisors and/or Peers - Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • IT support for all issues related to computer systems, data network, communication network and security.
  • Connect with the headquarters regarding all IT-related affairs, such as ISO27001 information security certification that needs to be evaluated and updated every year, system maintenance (Email, VPN, etc.).
  • Learn and manage all information security policies issued by the headquarters, set up plans to implement them, and create corresponding policies for Hisense USA Corp. if necessary. Make sure all IT meets industry standards.
  • Manage all IT-related fixed assets, including purchase, inventory, recycling, and scrapping, such as servers, computer rooms, monitoring equipment, telephones, etc.
  • Connect with the third-party IT company, evaluate their performance, supervise the services of IT companies, and at the same time act as a bridge between the third-party IT company and our employees to solve IT issues.
  • Connect with Gorenje IT in Europe and cooperate with the local third-party IT company in the United States to manage various permissions and security settings of Microsoft accounts.
  • Develop simple applications or pass requirements to HQ engineers, such as SharePoint functions that need to be customized, such as Syntex OCR, Hisense Knowledge Base, Hisense Virtual Agent Robot, etc.
  • Install and configure computer systems including personal PCs and servers.
  • Diagnose and solve hardware/software faults.
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of communication network and tools such as telephone/data, VOIP, Exchange etc.
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of data network such as LAN, WAN, VPN, WIFI etc. Special attention to network capacity and security.
  • Installation of new software and hardware (servers, printers, computer work stations etc).
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
  • Oversee security of all systems, especially the internet.
  • Train staff on new systems.
  • Day to day admin and monitoring of network use. Plan future improvements.
  • Suggest IT solutions to business problems.
  • Optimize network and storage performances.
  • Support on-boarding process, preparing new computers.
  • Control IT budget and optimize.
  • Plan companywide IT projects for rolling out of new tools.
  • Other IT related tasks assigned to this position.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in IT, Computer Science
  • 3 years’ experience of IT Support in a corporate environment
  • Must speak, read, and write English & Chinese (Mandarin) fluently and effectively
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines required
