Job Type: Permanent Build a brilliant future with Hiscox Drive growth with an ambitious team of Entertainment Underwriters at Hiscox Position: Underwriter, Entertainment Reporting to Southwest Regional Executive Location: Los Angeles The role Hiscox USA is currently searching for a dynamic, engaging and solutions-oriented Underwriter to drive new property & casualty business and complex renewal business within the Entertainment sector in the Southwest region. This position provides a unique opportunity for a property/casualty generalist or an entertainment specialist to join a fast paced, dynamic team to write policies tailored to the specific requirements of the Entertainment sector. Lines of business include commercial general liability, property, inland marine, umbrella, auto and workers’ compensation. In addition to insuring film, touring bands and theater business, all businesses which feed into or off of the entertainment sector are included. Examples include venues, equipment rental houses, post-production facilities, recording studios and talent agents. Risks vary greatly in size and complexity (from start-ups to large, multinational entities).
