What You'll Do:

• Project Planning and Scheduling:
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules for electric transmission projects.
  • Ensure that project timelines are realistic, achievable, and aligned with overall project goals.
• Cost Estimation and Management:
  • Develop accurate cost estimates for project budgets, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.
  • Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Identify potential project risks and uncertainties, conducting risk assessments to develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to implement risk mitigation plans and ensure project success.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Implement project controls systems to monitor and report project performance against established plans and objectives.
  • Generate regular progress reports, providing insights into project status, cost trends, and potential risks.
• Change Management:
  • Evaluate and assess the impact of changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and implement change management processes to ensure changes are documented, approved, and communicated effectively.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Controls Specialist in the electric transmission or clean energy industry.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, with expertise in scheduling and cost control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to electric transmission projects.
