Job Description :

The medical office is looking for a competent Medical Assistant with experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. The ideal candidate will assist doctors, support patients, and efficiently handle tasks using Epic software.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist doctors during patient examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs and medical histories
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment
• Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician
• Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records using Epic software
• Provide patient education and support
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and safety standards

Requirements :

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent education
• 2-5 years of back-office medical assisting experience (pay range : $17.00 – $18.49 per hour)
• 5 years of back-office medical assisting experience (pay range : $18.50 – $21.00 per hour)
• Proficiency in Epic software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Schedule :

• Part-time, Monday to Friday
• 4-5 hours a day
