Civil Engineer- Lynchburg, VA (Hybrid work schedule may be an option)This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team. We provide personalized full service to non-profit entities, businesses, and individuals throughout Virginia. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide Civil engineering through each step of a project from analysis, design, planning and scheduling, construction, startup, and operations.
- Design, prepare and review technical drawings and specifications for compliance with codes regulations and industry standards.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team including strong technical writing skills for preparing reports and documentation.
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position.
- Engineer In Training (EIT) license and ready to sit for the Professional Engineer exam OR current P.E. license.
- Experience in Land development and site design is desired.
- Experience and understanding of water, wastewater, roadway, and project.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited Institution.

- Water Supply System Design
- Wastewater/Septic Design & Analysis
- Water Supply System Design
- Litigation Support/Expert Witness Services
- Land Reuse Planning
- Permitting and SWPPP Services (Preparation and Submittal of the notice of intent and related permit registration documents, project evaluations with regards to current stormwater regulations.)
- Soils Evaluations for Drainfields Soils/Geological Maps
- Drone Surveying
- Boundary Surveying
- Design Ground Surveying
- Construction and Record Surveying
- Airport Surveying (FAA Compliance Surveying) Topographic and Detailed Mapping
