Role: Azure Security Architect with CNAPP

Location: Atlanta, GA - Hybrid

Duration: 12 Month contract

Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Azure Security Architect with expertise in Cloud-native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to strategize and implement cloud security best practices and processes, primarily focusing on Azure cloud platforms. While the position is remote-friendly, an occasional on-site presence in Atlanta is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with AWS Architects and Security Engineers to understand security requirements and implement Azure cloud security measures.
• Develop and implement a roadmap for establishing security standards in Azure cloud environments.
• Strengthen security posture by leveraging various security controls and automation techniques.
• Utilize scripting languages, with a preference for Python, to automate security controls and processes.
• Design and implement strategic solutions to enhance cloud security.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Azure cloud security.
• Proven track record of strategizing and implementing cloud security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud-native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP).
• Strong understanding of automation of security controls for Azure environments.
• Proficiency in scripting, preferably with Python.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• CISSP, CCSP, or similar certifications are a plus.
• Must be local to Atlanta or willing to relocate.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles in Azure.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
