WHAT YOU WILL DO
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain GAAP compliance
- Conduct thorough balance sheet account reconciliations and month-end close
- Investigate and resolve cash deposit discrepancies
- Generate and prepare ad hoc reports for management
- Oversee the develop and reporting of accounting application initiatives
- Support existing accounting applications and processes
- Create, improve, and automate technical, user documentation, and other accounting processes to save time for deeper analytical work
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of staff accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); proficiency in MAS500 (preferred)
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Proven track record of working effectively across all organizational levels and with external auditors
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university or college
