Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Layton, UT (100% Onsite)

Company Overview: Our client is a leading provider of contract manufacturing solutions, specializing in nutritional supplements. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, in delivering high-quality products and services to their clients globally. As they continue to expand operations, they are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

Position Overview: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the accounts receivable functions for their manufacturing operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have prior accounts receivable experience in a manufacturing or related industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and timely.
  • Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and disputes.
  • Process incoming payments (checks, wire transfers, credit card payments) and allocate them correctly.
  • Prepare and maintain aging reports and other financial reports related to accounts receivable.
  • Review and analyze customer credit profiles and recommend credit limits.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

  • Required: 2 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or 2-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $36,000 - $48,000 annually- DOE
