HintonBurdick CPAs and Advisors, a leading regional certified public accounting firm, is seeking a Professional Staff Accountant for all stages of tax and audit preparation in our St. George, UT, Cedar City, UT, Richfield, UT, Mesquite, NV, or Gilbert, AZ office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize tax software to prepare returns 
• Research and consult on various tax matters
• Provide timely, accurate, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Prepare tax returns for more complex individual, trust, partnership, and corporate clients.
• Perform bookkeeping services which may include recording transactions in ledgers, preparing trial balances and financial statements using computer software programs. Reconcile accounts, prepare schedule of accruals, property and equipment, and calculate depreciation expense, etc.
• Perform compilation, review, and audit procedures as assigned
• Draft reports including routine footnotes

Requirements

CPA license or working toward obtaining a CPA license
