Hilton is Hiring an Operations Manager - Franchise Near Waldorf, MD

Job Requirements

Role:

The primary role of the Operations Manager is to assist the General Manager in providing leadership, guidance and support to the operations team with a large emphasis in Housekeeping Operations.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Oversee the facility operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager including guest services, housekeeping, and breakfast.
  • High emphasis in playing a key role in Housekeeping Operations leadership & management. Tasks such as: Develop and manage the housekeeping budget, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment. Ensure all rooms and public areas meet Hilton's standards of cleanliness and quality. Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, guest amenities, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost saving measures. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure standards are maintained. Coordinate with the front office for efficient room allocation and cleaning schedules.
  • Manage special cleaning and maintenance projects as needed.
  • Help manage the front office operations and supervising directly the front desk and food and beverage staff.
  • Resolve guest concerns while maintaining high franchise Guest Service scores.
  • Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
  • Administrative tasks such as reporting, inventories, accounting processes and much more.
  • Implement and oversee cost saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
  • Serve as MOD as required, overseeing overall hotel operations during shifts, handling guest relations, and ensuring all departments function effectively.
Work Experience
  • Two years related management experience, and hotel brand knowledge (Hampton Inn by Hilton)
  • Extensive experience with rooms, housekeeping and food and beverage.
  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management, business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in standard hotel management systems.
  • Hands-on leadership.
