Hilton is Hiring an Assistant Front Office Manager - Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor Near Baltimore, MD

The iconic Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to join their guest services team! This 757-room property is located next to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Inner Harbor’s museums, the National Aquarium, and is connected to Baltimore Convention Center via skywalk! 

 

As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you would report to the Assistant Director of Front Office, Director of Front Office and Front Office Manager. In this role, you would be responsible for assigning work/ensuring the completion of daily tasks of the 25-person union front office team. Ideal candidates for this position will have previous front office experience at a hotel of Hilton Brand (with training in OnQ) at a hotel that sees high occupancy specifically from groups!

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you would be responsible for assigning work and ensuring the completion of daily tasks in Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assign work and supervise team member performance in all Front Office procedures including, but not limited to, guest check-in and check-out, lobby traffic and flow, luggage assistance, telephone operator services and determining room rates and availability
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
  • Schedule, assign daily work, lead pre-shift meetings, inform and train team members
  • Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
  • Monitor lobby traffic and adjust staffing accordingly
