Position Overview:

Maintain and clean guest room floors and hallways, service areas and landing storage closets. Provide support to room attendants by providing with extra supplies to ensure guest rooms are cleaned in a safe and efficient manner.

Organizational Structure:

Department: Housekeeping

Status: Part-Time/Seasonal, Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Reports To: Director of Housekeeping

Supervision: NA

Pay Structure: Hourly, Paid Bi-weekly.

Essential Job Functions:

• Remove all trash from guest rooms.
• Stock landing storage closets.
• Remove soiled linen from rooms and place in laundry carts.
• Maintain laundry chutes and chutes room with organization cleanliness.
• Remove any debris or items from hallways on guest floors.
• Turn in any item forgotten by guest to Security so it can be logged and return to guest.
• Provide any assistance that room attendants may need during the day.
• Report any maintenance issues observed in guest rooms.
• Perform other duties upon request from management.

Qualifications:

• General Education High School GED Required
• Able to communicate in English verbal and written.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
