Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant and bar at Hilton Head National RV Resort. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a minimum of 5 years of cooking experience, along with proven leadership skills in the food service industry.

Duties:

• Oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage offerings.
• Manage kitchen and dining area staff, including recruitment and training.
• Plan and design menus.
• Scheduling of kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Work hands-on with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure consistent preparation of food.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate purchase prices and control inventory.
• Address customer feedback effectively and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 5 years supervisory experience in a food and beverage setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the best practices and trends in the food and beverage industry.
• Able to adapt and solve problems quickly.
• Proficient in various computer and POS systems.
• Knowledge of scheduling labor by anticipated business activity.
