Summary: Assists the Chief Engineer in all duties of maintenance to ensure that the building and grounds are well maintained and neat in appearance.
What will your job responsibilities and duties be?
- Monitor buildings and grounds to ensure a neat and clean appearance and environment.
- Report to Supervisor any safety issues that may need immediate attention.
- Assist in the preventative maintenance program for the building and its fixtures on a daily, weekly, monthly and as needed basis.
- Assist in developing emergency action plans.
- Provide courteous guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints.
- Painting & Drywall
- Ability to monitor pool chemicals and follow Health Department Standards
- Outside maintenance and repair
- Familiar with repairing plumbing and troubleshooting issues.
- Basic Electrical Repair
- Follows established safety procedures, use of personal protective equipment and sharps policies.
- Provides assistance to other departments of the hotel to contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel.
- Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to guests and associates.
