The Bartender in Bonnie and Clyde's, the Hilton DFW Lakes Sports Bar takes beverage orders, prepares and serves alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests, maintains stock/supplies and ensures cleanliness of bar, room and equipment.
Essential Requirements:
- Knowledge of all liquor brands, wines and non-alcoholic selections available
- TABC Certified-Knowledgable on state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving.
- Complete opening side duties.
- Inspect cleanliness and condition of bar and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge guests even when busy.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
- Complete closing side duties.
- Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
- Able to work well with fellow employees using a teamwork approach.
- Efficient control of beverage cost waste control, portions.
- Able to properly lift, carry, follow spill procedures, proper chemical handling, and use of equipment.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in determining potential intoxicated guests.
- Ability to exert strong physical effort in transportation cases of liquor and beer kegs from storeroom to bar.
- Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
