Hilton Charlotte University Place is Hiring a Hotel Bartender Near Charlotte, NC
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest dining experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks that exceed customers’ needs and expectations. Bartenders will also display menu knowledge and serve tables.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders, serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Present and answer questions about the bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm they meet legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, completing required sidework
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, particularly regarding food safety and sanitation
- Bartending: 2 years (Preferred)
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Our lakeside hotel is off I-85, a half-mile from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and steps from The Shoppes at University Place. PNC Music Pavilion and the Charlotte Motor Speedway are 10 minutes away. Features include a seasonal outdoor pool, patio seating with fire pits, a café serving Starbucks coffee, an on-site restaurant/bar, 20,000 square feet of meeting/event space, a 24-hour fitness center, and walking trails.
